    Netmake posted a message informing that GoJS is no longer supported but did not explain what we supposed to do. I have projects which worked fine and now they generate GoJS errors, despite I do not use anything from the LIB. Why ?

    What am I supposed to do ?

    Fix the problem and post an update OR new install so people can reinstall SC without GoJS.


    Below is an example of Blank App (only 3 lines of code and no GoJS) but it still throuws the Error.

    You have two ways to solve that.
    1. Give permission to that archive
    2. Delete this, because it's no being used any more.

      I have several project and only one of them uses GoJs, although every single project now generates this similar error, and you knew about this when the global licensing got cut off, but you did not tell anybody how to deal with this. Now you posting some cryptic message that no one can understand. Also - when I generate this same App as a single App (instead of generating the whole project - this Error does not appear).

      Your reply makes no sense.

      what you talking about ?
      what permissions ?
      what archive ?
      delete what ?

        Hello!

        Sorry for the short answer, it was because we answered the ticket you have opened. Did you see?

        So, our team has posted in our change log on Scriptcase v9.2.016 ( https://www.scriptcase.net/changelog/ ). You can find informations what to do.

        To resume you can use GoJS as an external library inside Scriptcase, however you will have to get a license for that. Northwoods is offering a Special License Discount Program.

          DO YOU SEE ERRORS IN THE SCREENSHOT ???


          I ASKED CLEARLY ABOUT ERRORS WHEN GENERAING PROJECTS AND YOUR ANSWER ABOUT REMOVING SOMETING< GIVING PERMISSIONS ETC MAKES NO SENSE

          why we have to keep posting all those negative messages about your ignorance ?

          Can't you just answer my question straight ?
          If you don't know - say I DO NOT KNOW, or go an do some research with your devs

            I sent you a link and there you can learn why the Scriptcase does not use Gojs anymore.
            We don't ignore you, you opend some tickets about it, we have answered you, but you don't answer us.

              I posted a screenshot from your page showing that my request was not aswered. I also asked you 3 times about the Error and you like a robot keep repeating the same statement.
              The page you posted explains nothing about the error or how to deal with them I told you that. You keep ignoring everything.

              Why are you people such an ignorants. How can you expect your business grow with such attitude ?
              That is why all developers say that SC support sucks. This is perfect example.

                The problem occurs due to the use of the GoJS library in your applications. You have started more than 20 cases reporting same problem to the bug team and we have replied all of them.
                We have sent you repeatedly a link to the page explaining that, since release of the 9.2.016 update on Nov 13th of 2018, Scriptcase does not provide native support for GoJS library, as it was informed in our changelog. The same explanation page also provides alternative solutions for those who are using GoJS library, suggesting the use of the new native libraries available: Jsmind, JKanban, and Orgchart.

                    Frogie,

                    The GoJS library has already been removed from Scriptcase. The error you are seeing is due to the library call in your applications through the sc_inclube_lib macro.
                    To avoid error, you simply search for the sc_inclube_lib macro by applying the GoJS library (Eg. sc_inclube_lib("gojs");) to your applications and remove it.
                    Access the Scriptcase folder, delete the folder of your project in scriptcase/app/<projectname> and generate the source code of the entire project.

                    How can I solve this problem?
                    You should just replace the GoJS library with another one available in Scriptcase that have a goal similar to what you want.
                    Import our samples projects (This is already using the new native library and not the GoJS anymore), then study the code you are using and you can apply it to your project.

                      That seem to be missunderstanding. I do not have any lines in the code referring to GoJS or any INCLUDE lines.
                      WHen you said "GoJS was removed from SC" - how did you remove it from my computer ?

                      Somehow SC still generates gojs.js file and this happens in at least 3 projects which do not use GoJS at all.
                      There must be some settings or file in SC installation that is causing it because I

                        Dear John L.Santos - you replied to my message but you still did not answered the question. I don't really understand why we have this confusion.
                        You telling me to replace GoJS with,... something, while this is not what I asked. Can you really understand the problem? It is not about replacing , not about importing samples it is about of removing LIB from SC. If I don't use GoJS or any charting in the project why I get those errors?

                        You state Netmake removed GoJS from SC ? How? You hacked my PC and removed the files? Come on! Be real.
                        If you removed GoJS from new SC installations - that's fine. New users will not have that problem. But you have not mentioned a single line what to do with existing installations? there are GoJS files, right? There are also some references to those files which SC generates (without user writing single line of code). Why is it so hard to grasp?
                        Perhaps if I run most recent SC update proper files within SC installation will be replaced, but so far this isn't the case.
                        I have several projects which generate GoJS errors and I have no single line of code which refers to GoJS.

                          So sorry, I have received information that you are using GoJS in your application. Anyway, I told you, access the Scriptcase folder, delete the folder of your project in scriptcase/app/<projectname> and generate the source code of the entire project.

                          It should work. For more questions, we can perform a remote access and resolve this.

                            OK, thanks. Next time before you reply please read posts more carefully (I stated about not using GoJS twice).
                            Thank you for your time, I guess this time it worked. If NETMAKE support learn English better it would save everybody frustration. It is really super hard if the user cannot clearly communicate with some of your personell (and some support people shold not provide support simply because of the language barrier). I appreciate their affort but it causes more irritation than solution.
