  • refresh widget in dashboard

    Hello,

    I have 2 widgets in a Dashboard: Widget1 and Widget2 each contains a grid app .
I would like to refresh Widget2 when I change something in Widget1

Somebody knows how to do that ?

    Thanks in advance

Not in SC8, I think you need to assign the right iframe by javascript somehow. In SC9 there's a sample for it: http://www.scriptcase.net/sistemas/v...ard_orders.php I must be honest though, the sample works, but I couldn't get it running in my own application starting with a grid...

Take a look at the sample section on the site Passing paramaters in a Container under the dashboard section

I had same problem and my workaround was kind of a cheat but it worked for me. It may not work for you since it updates the whole dashboard, but for me it does not matter. I simply call the whole dashboard program again after update.

              Thanks Dr Tim,

Yes, it's a solution but it refresh the 2 widgets and it's not what I want.
If I find the name of the widgets in javascript or the the session name , I think I can get a solution

In SC9 you can define where the linked form is located.... try the properties
