BUG - sc ide folders structure is a mess after upgrade to 9.12.022

the tile says it all.

i just upgraded from 9.12.009 to 9.12.021 and shortly after to 9.12.022

didn’t change\create any folders in 021/022.

not 100% sure if the folder structure became a mess after the upgrade to 021 or only after going to 022.

in the changelog for version 022 there’s this entry:
“Fixed problem with applications becoming disorganized in subdirectories when renaming project folders.”

That seems my issue but I haven’t renamed any folders and, more importantly, the issue is not fixed.

I have the same issue after upgrading to 9.12.022

@robydago @bwalujo

We ran some tests related to the application home interface directories, and the following issues were identified:

  1. Even if there are no applications within the directory, a modal window appears asking the user what to do with the applications;

  2. The application home screen columns continue to be displayed just above the modal window, when they should actually be hidden.

Despite the inconsistency in displaying the modal window asking what to do with the applications (which do not exist in the directory to be deleted), the deletion occurs as expected.

If you’re experiencing any other specific issues not mentioned above, please feel free to provide further details.

If you encounter any new developments, we’ll be sure to provide feedback here.

not sure what you’re talking about: are you referring to what happens when deleting\renaming folders?

i didn’t even try to do any operations on the existing folders or to create any new ones.

after the upgrade the directory tree on the left pane is a mess.

see the image below
all marked dirs are duplicated in the visualization but they should appear only once.
note that all dirs above aPROD are actually inside the aPRODUCTION folder

this is how the same tree is shown from the folder setting of an app.
all instances of folders with the same names are duplicated by this bug.
the whole structure is not the real one!

Thanks for the feedback and for providing more details.

In fact, we identified this behavior in the directory structure and have already reported it for a fix.

As soon as the fix is released, we’ll provide feedback here.

Best regards!
