You mean like this one? Yes you can go to Layouts - save as - and then modify the font color at Page, Hope this helps

I don’t know how to do it, but I guess it’s a matter of setting the css right. But realy, I don’t have any idea how to do it.

Ya you need to click on layout then save it, and then choose the colour you want

It would be nice to be able to create my own CSS style sheet. Then each object in an application could have a field in creation where i can set a style from the CSS sheet, kind of like how Joomla does it. That would allow to create really nice looking forms with shadows and CSS animations etc… It would also allow me to set different styles anywhere without having just one theme throughout.

Afaik it’s done in the newest templates of scriptcase (like the hr thing). So I suggest to give that thing a look on how they did it.

Hi, sorry missed your message.

I have been having a bit of a play around with the advanced option in the theme editor. It is pretty good and does make it fairly easy to make a nice looking template with CSS, although it doesn’t have animations in there.

I just mean that it’ll be nice to have my own style sheet, where i could assign a CSS class to an object like the Hint in help. e.g In the Help settings of a field when in developer mode, maybe have a 3 fields like “Help Description”, “Help Type” and “CSS Class”.

In the CSS Class field i would refer to my CSS class by name.

The idea would be that i could have a Red background in 1 hint on a field, and then a green background in another hint on a different field. As it stands the CSS in the theme editor is for all Hint boxes.

This way i could still have a default theme for my project but also refer to a different CSS class when needed.

Also it would be nice to assign a CSS class to some field validations in grids. e.g if a field is a yes/no field then if the field was no the background becomes red and green for yes, maybe that’s going too far though, But then again It’s all about how information is displayed to the end user and what becomes easier to understand and looks more appealing and easy to use.

Thanks
