Add New Field

I am a beginner, if I add a new field whether I have to make a new form again

No.
Go to Application
Then use Synchronize Table

Short answer. No. You can update a form and add additional fields to it.

To add a field to a form go to “Form Settings->Fields->Add New Field”.

You can always add New Field(s) to a form. There are two places that you will see a list of fields in a Forms application:
a) Under Form Settings->Fields
b) Under Application-Fields

Under Form Settings->Fields:
This section shows you ALL of the fields whether they are custom or standard form (linked to database) fields. Note that you may want to add an extra set of characters in the field name of ones you add a custom fields which are not linked to the underlying database.

Example: “cf_” for custom field or something like that followed by the field name.

Fields in this section are not arranged in the order displayed but alphabetically. For ordering fields in the form go to “Form Settings->Fields positioning”… If you opt to hide a field it will not show in this section as well so keep this in mind.

as mentioned above, the Form Settings->Fields positioning section/option allows you to order how the fields appear on the form. Here you can hide a field from view, but still access it. This is handy as you might want to pull in a field from the database table, but not show it and manipulate the data or use it in some way with a calculation or some other task.

Under Application-Fields
Fields shown here are ALL of the custom and underlying database-linked fields.

Lastly, under Application->Synchronize table:
This area is used ONLY when the underlying database table has been physically changed. If it has not then you do not need to Synchronize. Synchronizing a table simply means that you want to ensure that all of the fields of the form correspond to fields in the underlying database table.

Note that while Scriptcase may seam “quekry” it has MANY strengths that other RAD tools have overlooked. To fully appreciate Scriptcase it will take at least a full year of learning the system so be patient. Scriptcase can create some truly very large applications or small ones. The limits are basically up to your imagination and creativity.
