Advanced Mode Theme Editor Does Not Work

I have a couple of custom themes. I can change the theme with the “edit” link to the basic editor, but nothing changes or is saved with the advanced mode editor.

I open the theme in advanced mode. Make a change and click the save button. Redirected to theme choose screen with preview and nothing has changed. Also the close button on that page does not work.

This bug has existed since ver 7.0 and has not been fixed yet.

Can anyone else confirm this issue? I’d like to rule out that this may be a problem with my setup.

I’ve solved changing php.ini

Switches and enables
max_input_vars = 2000
Restart apache server
