I wish there was an application lock! For example, when I create a copy of an app, perhaps to recreate it to find a bug, it’s often happened that I edit the copy! What I need is write protection for the apps so I don’t accidentally edit them!
Unfortunately, Scriptcase doesn’t currently have a built-in app lock or write protection feature. As a workaround, you could use naming conventions (like adding “_readonly” to copied apps) or keep copies in a different project. Also, consider making regular backups.
I agree, I’ve mucked up several over the past year, usually at the end of a long day., even after I have given the copy a very distinctive name. A lock would be great.
