Assistance needed

I am new to script case and need some help understanding it better. I have been watching all the video tutorials and I am missing some of the basic steps. Is anyone willing to help out with showing me how to do some basic feature via remote desktop? If so how much would you charge?

I have used other applications in the past and script case looks to be more customizable. The new system I need to make basically will have a page for creating applicant records to be stored in a database and be able to be searched based on certain criteria. The application will also need to have user access via a password.

Howdy, I’ve been using sc since Jan and have built a couple of systems with it. It’s challenging starting out because things are kinda spread out and tucked away. The vids were a good start, when I started I watched the vids, then played around with the examples. I then took a notebook, and made notes on specific functions ie… login screens, search, links, functions, etc… like my own tutorials for things that I knew I would need to review again until I learned them. THEN if I couldn’t find the specific answer I needed, I searched this forum, then if I couldn’t find it here, I searched the web. Then if I got stuck, I posted a question.

You didn’t say what db you are using, I’m using mysql. Its pretty easy to hook up to mysql. Finally I would create the recruitment tracker using the template, and look at how and what its doing.

If you have any questions just post them, others would benefit from them also.

later…
