Tried to run general backup from SC SETTINGS page and got this error.
I’m sure I have plenty of RAM as well as HD space. Any ideas ?

For more than a year I have never been able to get backups to work. I have reported it numerous times, but have seen no fix yet.
On the bright side, about six months ago bartho said it was “reported to the bugs team”, so I am hoping any day now it will be fixed.

There is only one way to do a working backup in my view. And that always works… Turn off scriptcase, backup the whole scriptcase dir, turn on scriptcase.
Anyway did you increase the memory_limit in your php.ini? Move it to a sufficient amount (e.g. 64M or more).
