borders on grid report

on a grid report is it possible to create borders on each field so that every row field
is in a box. I wonder if there is any easy way to do this. Would I have to add
a picture background or is there another option.

The grid always shows one row colured and another white for the entire records to increase the readability, You can make One column colured and one white, and alternative colums across all the fields,

It looks like a box…

Thanks dhana, but its the print out I’m talking about. On screen its perfect but
on the print out its much easier to read with borders.

You have to use grid like image on the background to do that…!
There are some samples provided in SC
