It seems impossible to upload a file of 0 bytes. This should be possible. Yet the standard uploader gives an error that doesnt make sense either.
This is obviously a bug.

a file without content is zero byte. Because a lot of possible reasons, you need/want to upload this kind of files
Just sending a bug report… One should be able to upload files. Thus also empty files…
