If you have a nested grid (grid in a grid) and change the field positions in the “main” grid then the nested grid is damaged.
The way to solve this is to delete the link to the nested grid and build it up again. This after hours of experimenting.
Sorry I found the reason. I deleted the the reference to the nested grid. Problem solved.
