How you do it in Linux.

I’m thinking of install CentOS 6.2 (come with PHP 5.3.x) and php 5.2.x as backup for my old appz.

Did you register v6? and if yes are you able to access/generate codes in both v5 and v6?

V5.2 required php 5.2 & V6.0 required php 5.3. Regardless of you have register V6 or not, you’re not able to install v6.0 trial if you’re using php 5.2. Got it?

I have already installed the v6 successfully and its up and running. I want V5 also coz i need to generate codes and continue development in V5 unless i have tested all the old projects in V6 and running fine without any problem. V5 is also running fine for now along with V6 which is good.

So far i have found one problem which i have reported under “Bugs”

i install php5.2 bundle with xampp and php5.3 the updated bundle from repository of ubuntu.
i just install 2 web server in one server machine.
-when i use php5.2 i just stop service of apache2
-when i user php5.3 i just stop service of lampp(xampp)

thats all.
if you trying to install php5.2 and php5.3 in one webserver. i dont know.

I managed to setup php 5.2 & php 5.3 in single Linux server :slight_smile:

And now SC52 & SC60 run in the same server :slight_smile:

I build a new system with CentOS 6.2 (32bit) and this come with php 5.3. After that, compile php 5.2 from source. then in stall mod_fcgid,

Create 2 separate domain to take care SC 5.2 & 5.3.

Now I can open 2 browser to launch SC 5.2 & SC 6.0 respectively without assign different port.

eg http://sc52.local.dom/sc52 for scriptcase 5.2 & http://local.dom/sc60 for scriptcase 6.0.

Of cause you need Java for both appz and ZO for SC52, ZGL for SC60.
