Controlling pages based on Login

Hi There,
When I add a login procedure is there a way to control what pages can be seen by a user based on their login?

Thanks for any help.

Best Regards,

Steve.

If you have a menu application, once you create the security applications it will not show links to pages user’s don’t have access to.
The Security module does a great job of this plus also stops direct access to pages without first logging in.

As with pretty much everything there are multiple ways to do things based on your particular needs.
If the login procedure you create is from a Control application with hardcoded values, you can do the same sort of even in the onload of each page, redirecting them back to the login or to another page saying they aren’t allowed.
If you wanted to be very specific with your question it may help get a better answer from others. “When I add a login procedure” is to vague… will you be using Scriptcase’s built in “Security” modules or creating your own?

Hope that helps.

Hi There,

Thanks for the reply.
I can try to use the built in security module.
Is there a training video available that shows how to do this?

Steve.
