AFAIK you have only the choice of converting all projects from 6 -> 7. I tried to use export from 6 and import from 7 but that’s not working. That’s a real issue as customers might need to migrate one-by-one. I cannot convert all my projects and test them all at once. I need to be able to maintain the apps in 6 until they are tested in 7. I need to be able to test one app in 7 and continue maintenance of 6 until I’m ready. I would like to vote for an option to be able to export in 6 and import in 7.
Hello Mr. Drent,
Are you suggesting this in a way that ScriptCase 7 will convert those applications from SC 6 to SC 7, or is it in a way that you can use SC 7 interface to work on SC 6 projects?
regards,
Bernhard Bernsmann
I need to be able to convert projects one by one. Currently you can only convert them all at once.
Issue is simple, if I can only convert all at once I cannot maintain the projects in 6. But before I can deploy apps generated in 7 I need to be able to test them fully. As I have a lot of projects that simply cannot be done in a short time. This causes a very inconvenient situation. It would be great to be able to export an application in 6 and import it in 7. Only if you do you get an errormessage that the file is not SC version 5!
Hello,
I will forward your suggestion to our development team.

Hello,
I fully agree!
This is the main issue that we are currently NOT CONVERTING to SC7.
We cannot start with one project only, maintaining all the others in SC6 untill the first ist finished in SC7.
And then one by one …
Thank you for your help !
Gunter
I am waiting for the same thing.
I dont think they are going to be giving us a option.
Has anyone noticed that NO updates for 6 has come out since november?
The concentration on 7 has been everything.
I have 4 bugs in support, and the status of all the tickets are “Resolved” which to me means we arent looking at this anymore.
