Has any one developed a secure copy protection mechanism in php or using 3rd party for their deployed applications. Looking for a copy protection as the one done by SC for their licensing.
Any pointers to tools/code would be much appreciated.

AFAIK there are at least two supliers: Zend and NuSphere (www.nusphere.com). I have never used them and I don’t know if you will run into trouble with SC. But they most likely have trials to find out.
i’m using nusphere phped, just for checking if there is any error in php script.
no such function for copy protection in nusphere as what chetan described.
but anyway, i don’t mind my software get copied by my customer 
my customers have very good relationship to me for years and also my softwares are specifically designed for their purpose.
Yes, phpEd is a product of NuSphere, I’m a user too. But Nusphere has more products…
