Copy record - BLOB image is not copy

I add the copy function on a form contain a bytea image on PostgreSQL. Upon click “Copy”, the image appear.

But when I click “Add”, the screen is cleared with a blank record. Then I click “Cancel”, the copied record appear without the image.

Is it a bug or some programming is required ?
