Have you the correct characterset (UTF) in use?

in db connect or php?

i have set in php and in SC config (/_lib) on Server.

I remember that the grid has a bug. Try to use utf8_encode in the onrecord event. If it is working then it hasn’t been fixed since 9.4, the version I’m still using

hi,

i have upgrade to 9.6 and now i have this problem

I understand, but SC is not monitoring this forum often. I would give my option a try to fix it, even if it’s a work-around.Or wait until SC fixes it, but you never know when :wink:

hi,
your solution works.
waiting for SC is useless.
thank you.

@marcosc

what is the charset of the application? UTF-8 or ISO?

For ISO, you need to use ISO-8859-15. Pois is the only one that supports this symbol.

yuri, it works on the form, but not on the grid. It simply is a bug.

@marcosc , @aducom

what is the charset of the application? UTF-8 or ISO?

In my case utf8, but I still have to use that function. But I’m on 9.4. There is a difference in behavior though between development and production I cannot explain.
