My version: V9.2.016
In a form application I have a date field. In the General Setting->Values format I set regional setting true. In regional setting location German (Switzerland) the date is set dd.mm.yyyy . Display setting is ddmmyyyy.
When I run the application it shows the field format “mm/dd/yyyy”.
Please correct!

Could you please send us some images of your settings. It would be helpful to solve this problem.
It seems that the general setting is not applicable for a data field in an application.
Attention: If regional setting Button is active, only the possible settings fior the language region selected is applicable (only those formats will be selectable).
n Multilanguage projects presumably this will then select the regional setting of the language selected (at login).
If this automatic adapting of format is not wanted, do not set the “regional setting button”!
