Date gets corrupted when changing language

Hello everybody. I have a problem with a date field when I change the language, from spanish to english. In spanish it is OK. For example, the date format is dd/mm/yyyy and its value is 01/01/2014. When I change the language to english, the date should be 01/01/2014, but the month as the first field now. But after changing the language, I get 20/01/14, as you can see, the year went from 4 digits to 2. I have already checked the button regional settings for the field and it is set to yes. This happens only on a form application. My SC version is 7.01.0014. I have checked the options section for the toolbar for JS formatting and it is set to yes too. Thanks for your help.

PD. I’m working on Windows 7.

Thanks Bernhard. Do you know if exists a timeframe to solve this? I could see this problem on a windows version for SC in spanish, but now I am on a Mac, with SC in english and it has the same problem.
