I might be wrong but I have a Dutch instance of W7. Date format is dd-mm-yyyy. I have the checkbox regional settings checked. Dates show as mm/dd/yyyy
The dateformat (is it used?) is set to ddmmyyyy. To me this looks like an error or am I mistaken?
Hello Mr. Drent,
Is the issue happening on what kind of application?
Have you set its internal value to dd-mm-yyyy?
Please get in touch with our support, they will show you step by step on how to configure date format on any sort of application.

You are not alone! same problem for Australia (dd/mm/yyyy)
Hello Jimmy,
Is it happening to every application?
Please get in touch with our support, they will show you step by step on how to configure date format on any sort of application.

The language settings are browser dependant. If you install a dutch firefox then the ‘HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE’ will be dutch. All depends on this ‘HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE’. Internet explorer derives its ‘HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE’ from your local langauge settings in your control panel. Yet be aware it derives the language from there, not the date.time settings, these are not transferred. Basically if you are installing the US version of your browser then the language settings will be MM/DD/YYYY
It suggest that HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE is used to retrieve locale settings. I’m not sure of that. Besides that, SC locale setting depends on the default locale selected at project level. Will try to sort that out…
Hi, i was reading this thread now becasue started to use my sc after purchaisng the license so I’m happy now
ok i tried to change from mm/dd/yyyy to dd/mm/yyyy from search > layout > header & footer it doesn’t work, it keeps reading mm/dd/yyyy
moreover, i wanted to change the title of the application that in line1 in > search > settings > header & footer, but also reads as default like i didn’t change
so i tried to remove the whole header, and gave me a quick red-error and header stays there, any idea why header/footer settings are not working?

Actually no. Header and footer is working fine here.
so why when i select “No” header it still shows the header on creation?
and if i select the date format dd/mm/yyyy still shows mm/dd/yyyy?
I realy don’t know. If I go to lay-out and deselect header it’s not shown on my pages.
Mr. Drent,
Are you still experiencing the related issue?

Bernhard
