Deployment of a form, bug or feature?

I deployed a form with an friendly URL.
The result is a folder (with PHP files in it) with the name of the URL instead of the original form name.
The deployed software will react with an error because it is looking for the orginal formname and not for the file with the name of the URL.
Is this a bug or a feature?

Kind Regards, Bert

do not use friendly url

I remember that I used is earlier and got many issues with it, one of them was that you need to give permissions to each folder and to each application as well in the security, and if you changed in the security then you will have all the names listed affront of you for nothing loool

so i stopped using it… each application will go to separate folder anyway

I wil send the issue directly to scriptcase. If there comes an answer (or not) I will let you know.

MikeDE is right. FriendlyURL is one of the (several) features of ScriptCase that does not work right. Best to avoid it entirely.

Thank you Dave, it took me days and nights to clean that mess when I tried it for the first time, it ovviously crates a folder with the friendly_url thing and in security you will get lost when giving permissions to applications, doubles everything, considering folders like something user needs access to

anyways, when using menu applications all that “friendly_url” invention gets useless, just saying
