After years of working with Scriptcase, I’ve reached a point of serious disappointment.
Over the last three months, I’ve noticed that nearly 25% of my time is wasted trying to debug issues that eventually turn out not to be my mistakes, but Scriptcase bugs. And sadly, the number of bugs this year has increased to a level that genuinely makes me fear relying on this tool.
What makes it even worse is that instead of focusing on stability, performance, and fixing core problems, the administration behind Scriptcase seems more concerned with marketing campaigns and flashy but non-essential features (like yet another chart type). Meanwhile, real developers are left struggling with broken functionality.
I say this with regret because Scriptcase could be a great product. But right now, it feels like it’s managed by people who are not taking responsibility. For those who doubt me, just look at the first page of their official forum—it’s filled with bug reports.
Unfortunately, I still have client projects tied to Scriptcase, which means I’m stuck in painful days trying to push through. But honestly, I am seriously considering leaving Scriptcase forever once I complete those commitments.
NetMake needs to stop, rethink, and refocus on fixing the fundamentals instead of inflating the RAD tool with half-baked “features.” Until then, developers like me will continue losing trust.
