A grid app with Chrome:
The same grid with IE 11:
Lock at the wordwrap at field “Buchungstext”. No special configuration on that grid, but the same desktop.
It’s a bug in SC 8.1 …
One Grid with SC 8.0 …
… the same grid, same data, same desktop without modifications in SC 8.1:
I find something annoying …
Above thats with IE 11, in Chrome the grids are identical.

We can’t simulate the problem, the grid showed in the same way in chrome and IE 11.
Please, clear your cache or try open in an anonymous flap.
Please, show me how is the Field setup. if possible, send a print screen.

I tested on Windows 10: grids display the same on Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. I’d clear the cache, as Artur recommended.
