Dynamically remove the link and image based on condition in Grid Applications

Hi, I have a situation here. I have a grid application and have got few HTML image fields. I use them to link to another application. However based on a particular row, I need to show a disabled image and also need to remove the link. Is there a way to achieve this? sc_link only works to update the link but I don’t know how to delete the link and also need to replace the image (greyed icon for that row so that customer will know that there is no link. Any help will be highly appreciated.
