There is a bug in version 8 in generating shapes in the multiple records option. Since having a Document (File Name) field and selecting the document to upload, pressing save if you upload the document to the server but does not save the name in the database. However if I put it as a unique record, I select the file and save it, with this option if it saves the data both on the server and in the database.
