Error shown in the diagnostic menu

I can not get any response when I try to update my version from 9.0000 to the latest version.
Error message is as follows

’ [SIZE=12px]The requested service is inaccessible. It might be temporarily down. Verify your Internet connection’[/SIZE]

[SIZE=12px]Using the diagnostic I find the following [/SIZE]
[ATTACH=CONFIG]n78218[/ATTACH]

Any help on this???

It can’t be the internet connection otherwise I could not be writing this!!

Are you running SC local on your machine or server? Do you run a VPN? Without knowing the answers to the two previous questions, I’m guessing that you’re running a VPN and have SOCKS misconfigured. Which VPN are you using? Some of the more reputable VPNs will provide a SOCKS proxy.

I am running SC on my desktop and do not run any VPN except for teamview once or twice per month to my clients on the other side of the world.
