Euro currency with English UK

Hey,
does anybody knows how to set up English for the project with Euro as a currency?
Normaly when I choose proper English (UK) when I want to show the currency symbol SC shows me a Pound symbol.

Also the numbers are shown in weird (imperial) way - one thousand is 1,000.00 wchich should be 1.000,00 as every normal SI oriented folk knows. :wink:
The numbers are not the biggest problem for me though.

I don’t think you can change a single attribute of the locale project/system wide.
You have to do it the hard way. At the field settings, section Values Format, Regional Settings -> No.
Then you can adjust the settings for that particular field. (As I said, the hard way!).
