'Exit URL' to the calling link

I have a button link that calls a grid with search but the link goes to grid directly without enter into search, but when I click on back, it returns to the search not to the calling application. So I’ve saw that the button link has a parameter for the ‘exit URL’ but, what I must type there to get back to the calling application instead of search?

I’ve do some test, but the ‘Exit URL’ option is not valid because its executed when application exit, not when exit from the grid that goes back to search… Is any way to get back to the calling app without going through search?
