I want to export a CSV file from a grid. I have set the button on the toolbar and configured under the CSV export settings, but it actually downloads a zip file, not a CSV. I’m sure it previously downloaded as CSV - am I going mad? Is there a way to get it to download in CSV format?
Does anyone else have the same problem, or maybe have any ideas on this?
it is a while ago but i was busy with export to CSV anyway.
in my version 9.9.001 (8), no issues with auto zipping csv.
i kind of envy you cause it is a good option but i do not even see where you can set auto zip files.
CSV is also a module of a grid, but not really. if you want to configure open grid automatically as CSV, you neet to go export settings (does not make any sense in my view, it should be under application modules, next to summary and chart). You can set it up to download the file directly. Unfortunately you can not set an option View data in a browser. This is very useful for sharing data with Excel.
Now i need to program a custom control app for that just to dump data in csv format.
