Export to pdf does not work anymore in any application.

Some customers have been telling me that they no longer have an export job to pdf.
It works locally with me. Once the app is installed on the server, no more.

I’m talking about the default export option in Scriptcase.
Export to Excel and Word works normally.

Because I did not check it before, I do not know when it’s not working anymore.
I use the latest version of Scriptcase.

Error says: The requested URL /portal/_lib/tmp/sc_pdf_20180607164313_531_customer_grid.pdf was not found on this server.

In the tmp folder I find 3 files with extensions: log, css, html
There is no * .pdf file

How to explain now to the customer that something that has worked more does not work and that there is no quick solution?

Hey, check this article about this error:

https://suporte.scriptcase.com.br/en-us/article/647-pdf-generation-displays-message-not-found

I hope that works for you.

Thanks for the tip. I’ll take a look.

Sorry, I can not test this because I do not have terminal access to the hosting server.
I’m gonna have to find another way.
Thank you for your efforts.

In the log file I have this:

./wkhtmltopdf-amd64 --page-size A4 --orientation Portrait --header-right “[page]” http://www.mydomain.net/portal/_lib/tmp/sc_customers_grid_html_7ehklgoe3t3tnme33v3kvgkim1.html /home/mydomain/domains/mydomain.net/public_html/portal/_lib/tmp/sc_pdf_20180608204323_657_customers_grid.pdf

if it helps.

Hi rik, this is the command that the export function runs. You need to find a way to run exactly this command in a terminal to find the error. I found many different reasons when a pdf file was not created. One reason were missing libraries to run wkhtmltopdf that had to be installed. But you can only be sure if you can run the command in a terminal.
