Hi There,

Ik have a grid and would like to export it to pfd and excell, but the fields that are showing are not the fields i want to export.

For example: i have a field with a button {details} that i wan’t to hide when exporting
and i have a field {item_id} that i want to show.

any suggestions?

A way to do so is [LIST=1]

  • make a copy of this grid and do the changes hide fields
  • set in GRIDMODULE/INITIAL MODULE to PDF
  • EXPORT menu to OPEN PDF Directly
  • in your original grid make a button to the adapted grid to open it [/LIST] Do the same for EXCEL.

    Maybe there is a way to do so by code, but not yet figured it out

    Thanks. that indeed is a way to do it… i’ll give it a try… it’s not the most fancy way… the user is setting up a filter the first time and has to do it again for exporting the stuff.
