Netmake Reps. keep asking to send suggestions to their Email address, while nobody knows what happens when the email is sent. To be honest I doubt if they even read it because I have never got a single reply, and we have no control of how many people requested this or that. This really must change.
I’ve sent an Email to NETMAKE asking to create new Forum category for FEATURE VOTING.
I have some software which is done precisely that way. Users are happy and the developers are thriving. This is not the case for Netmake.
Here is and example of the following features I would like to request. I have also sent Email to Netmake with this list.
We need a feature which allows to disable (exclude) specific App or Folder from compilation.
I have a project with 550 Apps, and it is still growing. I am testing this on a third hosting server and cannot compile it completely because I get timeout errors. The ISP does not want to make changes to MySQL setup. This is a shared hosting. I am not interested in VPS (at the moment).
The end result is that I have to compile the project 2 or 3 times in order to get the entire thing completed. And, yes, I keep the code locally, and dB on the server (have a reason for that).
This is super annoying and it is also huge waste of time. Another reason for this feature is to exclude Apps which have bugs or some other issues, while still being able to upload the project (ie. for testing). I used 5 tools in recent 20 years and they did have such an option. I am still using one program (for web development which has it). It is super useful.
I would like to see exclusion BY FOLDER and BY FILE
I have asked to implement folder structure on the server (the same way it is done locally). With 500-600 Apps in a single folder, finding something, scrolling, browsing is a NIGHTMARE 
It was very unpleasant surprise for me when I discovered few years ago that SCRIPTCASE does not create same folders on the server. This is a MUST !
I have also asked them to create a Forum category to vote for features needed. So far NETMAKE has their own goals for features and in my case 90% of their new features interest me, while tens of other things are ignored.
I hope you guys support me on this and comment here. Once we have more comments and opinions I will send the link to this post to NETMAKE.
