Formats in nested grid totals

Hello all.

Why does the total row in a nested grid not fully reflect the formatting set in the application template? I get the font formats (size and color) but not the background and the border formats. Is this a bug or is it supposed to be so?

Addition to this post:
Formats are not considered when the nested grid has the titles in the same line as the master grid.
