FORUM ADMIN - why you ignoring it?

I’ve asked this several times and it drives me nuts, when you force me to do something I do not want or like.

PLEASE REMOVE THE REQUIREMENT OF 15 CHARACTERS IN A MESSAGE TITLE !

to make things even worse you (the forum admin) force the requirement of a different message titles ? In other words if the user typed a title that exists, he/she cannot post it ? are you nuts ?

this logic is simply as stupid as it gets :frowning:

there is even more…

I have asked several times to allow full post date next to each post. This is a basic and obvious as it gets and you keep ignoring it. I am sick and tired of this stupid ignorance. Just look at the screenshot below:

Can you tell me the date of the message ? I mean full date ? Year ?
If not the go and fix this trash! THIS IS REALLY RIDICULOUS EVEN TO ASK FOR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. I am so suprt, super frustrated!

Unless I’m looking at this very oddly, the last one for example “ms sql server databases…” shows Aug '14 which I believe is August 2014. It does not show the day date. Not sure why it would be required.

…and this? Jul 28 ?

I guess the logic is something like this:

Jul '18 = Jul-2018

where stands for the omitted 20 and the day is not shown because it’s old thus irrelevant

Jul 18 = 18-Jul-2025 ← if you read it in 2025

where year is not shown because it’s the current year

Anticipating problems you will have in a couple years.

how wold I know it is a year, not the day ? what is the reason not to show the full date ?
the only reason I see it THE IGNORACNE

“how wold I know it is a year, not the day ?”

If there is a ’ before the number, then it’s a year.
The ’ stands for the omitted 20.

For example:

'18 = 2018

I don’t like it either, but it’s not that hard to understand.
Unless you’re ignorant…
