Don’t know what jaroel intend for, this is my opinion: It would be very useful something like freeze row and columns in Excel sheets. If you have a big grid or multiple rows form with many rows and columns, when you scroll the table you lose header (column label) and rows, so you don’t know which field are see/working on. It would be great to have a free way to freeze column labes and/or some columns (from left or from right). Is something available in JSQuery libraries I guess…

Is possible freeze titles for grids? When a user need down and it needs to knows the title of the column.

I have Scriptcase 8.00.0008 and I need that for my project …I just started to work on my app one month ago :slight_smile:

Hi Cristian,

not yet unfortunately, as far as I can tell, latest update 8.016 yet doesn’t have this feature, i think it is planned by developers but not yet implemented.

alternatively, you can add second header to your app if you know what i mean, not the actual fields titles but you can add additional layer and combine some fields under extra labels… I don’t think this will be implemented soon anyway.

I’ ll try your suggestion . I cooming from ERP industry , where every data table has optimal visibility :slight_smile:
Another usefull functionality ,is “freezed columns” or “freezed rows” or both, like in Excel.

Please tell me that this feature will be available soon. This feature is really important when you have a lot of columns containing similar data. In my case, I’m tracking the expiration dates of various certifications for our staff. Because there are about 15 columns and all of them contain dates, it’s extremely difficult to know which column is which. Unfortunately, Pagination isn’t an option here because the people using the software need to be able to quickly compare employees in different rows and locations, and once pagination is turned on it makes comparisons difficult. I don’t want to be disrespectful by name dropping, but I came from another php generator package that has had this feature available as a simple checkbox since a few years ago. So I know it can and has been done. Please Scriptcase Developers, give us some good news!!
