FTP upload errors

Trying to up[load one singleApp from the project using FTP and get this wired error:

"
Content Encoding Error

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression.

Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem."

Anybody has an idea how to deal with this ?

Not sure. I always deploy to a local wamp server to verify the working, then I use FileZilla for upload the deployed site. It’s also faster.
