General Question to scriptcase

You announce that a new version is coming.
And as a long-time customer, I know that an update will come within a week because of the many NEW bugs.

Wouldn’t it be better if you fixed the countless errors first?

Abstract:
CSS, especially instructions about width etc. are ignored.

THERE ARE TONS OF BUGS IN THE DEVELOPER CONSOLE!

The “mobile” settings mostly have no function.

If you create ONE form, the display works on the Ipad.
However, if you create a form with tabs and grids etc., the grids won’t even show up on the ipad.

For example, if you create an info line, e.g. with Change_Date and you group date and time, the time after navigation is no longer displayed.

The fields have a background color, if you don’t group the date, the background color is no longer displayed.

The error I reported the day before yesterday.

And and and and and and…

You still program lousy and sloppy - but ask a lot of money.

Isn’t it time to fix the bugs?

And not every time you write to support to answer “you have no contract”?

It is completely uninteresting whether I have an extra, completely overpriced support contract if the software as such does not work. That doesn’t work here. When will you finally get it?

At least they should not introduce new ones. PHP 8.1 is only a language change and not a scriptcase functional change. As 7.3 is no longer maintained, it is a no-go for professional organizations that require the PHP version to be up to date or at least maintained. End-of-life PHP is not allowed at the university I work for, and I’m sure that the same applies to many of us. We managed to get our stuff running under 7.4, but that is end-of-life at the end of this year. As converting your libraries and custom (event) code will consume a lot of time if you have many projects, it is eminent that SC with PHP 8.x comes out ASAP! (actually should came out about over a year ago, but at least before end-of-life 7.3, half a year ago…)

Basically, it is to be welcomed that they finally update to the current version.

But the most annoying and simple bugs are not fixed.
And what’s the point of the update if php 8.1 works, but I can’t roll anything out because there are so many errors otherwise.

The CSS is screaming.
How come I can’t and can’t set the background color of a field if it’s a label or write protected.
I didn’t buy scriptcase that I then have to tinker around with manually.

Why do I have “mobile support” if the display doesn’t even work on an ipad?

Form with multiple pages. Inside grids. The grids are not displayed.
And and and and…

charts locales doesn’t work either.

And exactly this sloppiness is annoying.
