Grid and Form

hey, trying to follow this guide:
http://www.scriptcase.net/scriptcase-samples/tutoriais/form/form55.php

says the grid should present “application” to link the grid to the form, yet the grid only provides:
Field
Capture
Buttons

so how can I link the two???

Not sure what you are doing wrong here, I can simply link a grid to a form…

In general, create a grid, take care that the table has a primary key.
Create a form on the same table
Create a link of type application, map the right fields and create and set some properties.
That’s about it.

ok but I do create the link in the grid right?
because the form gives me the application option…

ok very weird, I was using a previous created grid, as of course it had all the data already set with buttons n all… creating a new grid gives me the application option.
guess that will have to do :slight_smile: thx Albert

Hey Albert, how do u get the grid and from both at 50% width?
I have set the grid at 100% and the form at 50% but the form is still really small (with slider) and the grid still expands past 50%…

I generally do a popup of the form when I click on the grid. I think you have set IFrame to it? Or have you made it master-detail?Sometimes a screenshot can be helpful.
