Grid case sensitive not working as expected .... ;-((

Hello,
I’m on SCRIPTCASE V9.1.009 and I don’t understand what is happening to quick and advanced search.
Setting case to INSENSITIVE (off) within SQL it doesn’t work as expected
It has no sense for me. All tables are INNODB type and then they are all also set to utf8_unicode_ci .

Same here. Quick search does not work like it should.

I wrote to SC too but … as usual… nobody answer and care…
Probably they have not customers and users upset to daily deal with ;-))

Hello:

I’m having this same problem: In a Grid, QuickSearch looks up values in a case sensitive way even if my database (MySQL) is set to a case insensitive collation. If I turn off the “Case Sensitive” check at the SQL Statement of the grid, then the QuickSearch stops working at all: no matter what I write in the search box, the search doesn’t return any result. If I turn back on the “Case Sensitive” then again the search works but only for exact case match.

I used the MySQL log file to check the queries generated, and try it directly on phpMyAdmin: the result from the queries are correct. The problem is “internal” to SC.

I have tested on SC 9.1.009 on Windows 10 x64 Pro, MySQL 5.7.22 64 bits.
