I’m using a form app to upload images (field image filename) to a subfolder which works well. The corresponding grid app links to the images but uses SC9 generated temporary files of the images (sc_xxxx.extension). So the grid only works as long as the temporary images are present in the tmp folder. Why doesn’t SC9 generate links to the real images in the subfolder? How can you make this work? Does anyone have the same problems?
Does really nobody use field image filename to store images? Even Netmake uses only field image database (which works) in their samples.
Field image filename saves the images correct but if you want to view them in a grid you can only see the tmp files.
Any ideas?
I have the same problem with SC 9.4. A grid shall show images if a particular field value is 1 and shall not show if value is 0. I designed this grid application 9 months ago and it worked well. But now I added one field to the grid and it doesn’t work anymore. Pictues are not being displayed. I analysed the resulting website and instead of the name of the image directoty and file a tmp directory is shown and a cryptic file name. The original file name is pic1.png but on the website the address of the picture is /URL/_lib/tmp/sc_pic1_5050126982ab060ad992dc758b9e58654d59.jpg.
Is there a solution available?
Best regards,
Jorg
