Any idea why applying new theme causes loosing all Header / Footer variables ?
My default project settings have Header/Footer template set to Expanded, but then I apply new theme (copied from previously used) SC is changing settings back to Default (so this obviously causes loosing the Header/Footer variables.
Unless I’m doing something wrong it seems to be a bug. This also happened recently when I applied SC update. Any idea what is wrong here ?

agree, noticed this, even when changing the the template of header/footer all variables used before applying the newly-used template will be gone, you need to enter them again…
I guess this is because different themes/templates may have different columns -> entries to different location into SC internal db or something… i usually have chrome or firefox take care of this… double click shows me the variables used in the header/footer, but sure, is annoying
