Hello Guys:

Im creating a manual for my applications in helpcase but i would like to make references between entries of the help file, how can I do this?, I tried the link option in the editor but it ask me to set a url which is unknown to me.

Assuming you mean you want hyperlinks between helpcase pages then the URL is just the name of the html file you want to link to. So if you have an Introduction.html page and a Hello.html page, to set up a link from the first to the second, the URL is “hello.html”.

Helpcase also has links that link your helpcase to certain apps - so clicking help on the app links it to a helpcase page.

Ok it worked but I would like to clarify something.

if you have something like this in your helpcase

ROOT
===Folder1
======File1.html
===Folder2
======Folder3
=========File2.html

and you want to make the link between File1 and File2 then you will have to set something like this in the link config.

…/Folder2/Folder3/File2.html

just go to scriptcase help… it is the same by default, you could of change some i guess but to be hones i don’t wanna get into that unnecessarily.
