How Hot Keys work?

Anybody knows how Hot Keys work?

Documentation sais almost anything about. I add to New button, for example, the key N, but what I must to press to get it working? Or most important, is working?

You put in a key letter e.g. “F” – it must be uppercase

The hot key is then Alt+Shift+F

EDIT - actually, uppercase is a generalisation. Whatever key you want to use, it will be the symbol that would appear if you pressed SHIFT. So for a to z - you supply A to Z, for “1” it will be “!” etc (but you would tell the user its ALT+SHIFT+1)

 I swear I tried almost every combination, ALT+SHIFT included

Thanks

See my edit above too

Interesting, but this has some sense for something?

I tried with “1” and “!” and both works with ALT+SHIFT+1

yes - seems a little strange.

I also noticed if you put in lowercase letter, SC uppercases it. Maybe it does the same with numbers, i.e. you type a “1” and on a save / generate it changes it to a “!” ? Not tried that though…
