How to adjust padding/white space between label and field

I have created a basic form with the width set to 100% and 1 column. When the form is displayed in a browser it has about 300 px of white space between the label and the field.

I have looked in many places to find where this variable is controlled with no luck.

I was looking in the wrong area for this adjustment. I thought it was in the layout–>block settings but instead its in the form–>settings.
Once I set the ‘Table Columns’ to provided it shows a field for adjusting the label width. With a setting of 100px it views perfectly.

Hope this helps someone else.
