I upgraded to SC7.1 and have so many errors with my old App that I would rather go back to SC7.0 and wait until 7.1 is more stable.
Is there any easy way to go back to SC7 ?

I use SC from version 5 and you asking me to install a trial version or what ? Please read the messages more carefully,
ONCE AGAIN!
I want to install latest 7.0 version (not 7.1)
If I do automatic update SC will download files and upgrade all the way to SC7.1 (which I do not want, simply because it is so screwed up, that most of my older App do not work).
Do you understand my point ?

I think that Bernard means that if you logon as a trial user you’ll be able to contact support regarding this situation. To be able to return to older versions I recommend copying the full scriptcase folder to your backup to be able to restore if necessary. Keep in mind that there’s a sqlite database which might needs to be handled separately as this contains the definitions of your application.
