How to know what php version I have installed ?

Hi Friends,

If I simply update from version to version using the normal Sc update tool (Ej. from V7.09 to v7.10) this update process do not update the php 5.3 to php 5.4 too ?

Thanks

You mean in production?? Go to your (assuming you use windows) Program Files/NetMake/v7/components/php dir (Or Program Files (x86)/NetMake/v7/components/php and check the php.exe version via right mouse, properties, details.

No. You (or your hoster) must update the php version from 5.3 to 5.4. Or, if you install the “full package” (SC incl. PHP, Zend, etc.) from SC, you must deinstall the old version and install the new version. A previous (full) backup is recommended …

Your web host determines what version of PHP is installed on their servers. You cannot just install your own application software on a hosts’ server - only the scripts that get processed by the application.
