How to switch from PHP 5.4 to PHP 5.6 after automatic update from v8 to v8.1?

I was done automatic update from v8 to v8.1 and now I am stuck with PHP 5.4.

My existing installation remain in v8 subfolder with old components, I mean old PHP 5.4. How to update afterwards to brand new v8.1 version with PHP 5.6 and v81 subfolder (as it is in brand new installation) but not screw up existing license?

I have my old backup of whole scriptcase subfolder from v8 version.

Is it enough to copy existing nm_scriptcase.db after new installation?

No. Make a backup from your apps via SC 8.0 and then install the new version 8.1 with PHP 5.6 in a new directory. After that, register a new serial an scriptcase.net and activiate v 8.1. with this. Then restore the backup from SC 8.0.
