How to Upgrade a production environment?

Hi all,

I habe a productive Application and want to upgrade it without having to enter to the connection again.
What files of the production server needs to be unchanged during the upgrade? Or is there any other way for upgrading?

Run the deploy wizard and omit the library/common files. Upload the smaller ZIP to the FTP and overwrite the files. Done.
