I want to print 3 times the pdfreport, 1 original and 2 copies

Hello Aquiles,

Are you going to actually print those reports? Because if you are, when printing (on the OS printing settings) you can set the amount of copies to be printed.

Yes, but the operator must be setting the number of copies every time when print (an invoice as example).

The invoices need to be printed 3 times in a laser printer, (in a matrix printer simply I print one time and the paper and carbon copy do the task)

Then the best is : one PDF with the invoice in page 1, 2 and 3 and the operator simply print it once. (number of copies in PdfReport properties WOW !!!).

think on an operator printing invoices (3 copies), reports (1 copy), another invoice (3 copies), another report (1 copy) etc.

Hello,

I got in touch with our support team, and they told me there is no such functionality. I thought I was missing something.

To be perfectly honest, I couldn’t understand why you can’t set the number of copies, when the operator is going to print the reports. Is it because there are some reports that he is going to be print 1 copy, meanwhile for invoices, he is going to have to print 3 copies?

Hi Bernhard,

In my country, every invoice need to print ONE original AND 2 or 3 copies.
Using Matrix Printers, no problem, because every invoice have intercaled these papers with carbon copy and the application only print 1 time (and the carbon copy do all the task).

Using a Laser printer, do not, because the laser do not IMPACT the paper, then the application need to print 1 time for the original, 1 time again for the first copy, and 1 time again for the second copy.

that is the reason to send 3 copies to the printer, I know that can set on the printer properties window, BUT this is correct if these laser printer is ONLY for print invoices.

BUT if these Laser Printer is used to print invoices, reports, etc. the operator must be setting the number of copies more times.
